POGGY was passed on to our hard working and talented Freshman, Dory. She worked hard against one of the best teams and was able to create some major offensive opportunities for our team. Later in the week against Clayton, she went on to not only have her first high school career goal, but 3 additional goals to top it off! Way to go Dory, we are all very proud of what you have already accomplished!
Our Rally Bunny (loving term given by one of our referees), Poggy, was given to our first Player of the Game this Thursday against Villa. Congratulations to Ellis, the artist formerly known as Elise, on her achievement. Ellis was a paramount player on our defensive line and had a number of excellent saves and clears. Well deserved!
Arriving at 11 inches and 8oz Poggy made his way into the world this week. Poggy, named cleverly after her job as "Player of The Game," will be passed down after each match and awarded to the player who demonstrates great skill and heart. Each time Poggy is received, the player will have a chance to add something to this character. We are excited to see how she will grow and change throughout the season!
